Slinket Lake, Aynho, Oxfordshire

Although Only built within the last 10 years, Slinket is rapidly becoming a very popular water. It maybe due to the vast amounts of Bream stocked up to 8lbs. Four small islands along the length of the lake provide cover and safety for the fish, as well as a feature for anglers to aim for.Many local fishing Clubs regualy book slinket for their matches, as winning weights are generally high, with everyone catching plenty of fish.

Best Baits/Methods

Pole fishing is prefered due to the accuracy needed when fishing to the islands, Also Waggler, feeder or straight lead. Baits are Red maggots, sweetcorn, pellets, paste, bread, luncheon meat and red worms.
