Bridge Lake Fishery, Chacombe, Northamptonshire

If you want to make yourself feel like a top class angler again, after a run of unproductive outings, then this is the fishery for you. This is a fantastic little lake with beautiful views of the countryside. As the name might suggest, it is set along side an old railway line and bridge. The old railway bridge over looks the water and within the arch of it, the lake owner has build a house! This venue is an ideal place to take youngsters or people who are relatively new to fishing, as the fish are a nice manageable size at between 6oz-1lbs.There are also some larger carp which tend to cruise around the island in the center. Bridge Lake fishery is a great venue for small open, or club matches, with bags of up to 60lbs being recorded. This really is a cracking little water, with the biggest head of crucian carp I have seen for quite some time.

Full to the brim with crucian, common and mirror carp. Also present are large shoals of roach and rudd, tench, including some golden ones.
